Campus connect is an industry-academia partnership
initiative launched by Infosys. The campus Connect initiative aims to enhance the education
level of engineering students, nationwide and thus increase the employability of these engineers.
As a part of this initiative Infosys shares with partner colleges its proven courseware, methodology
and education experiences. Campus Connect thus helps partner colleges groom industry Ready engineers. |
The Foundation Program is designed by the Education
& Research department of Infosys primarily to train and prepare fresh engineering graduates who

|
  |
Industrial visit has its own importance in the career of a student
who is pursuing a professional degree. It is considered as a part of college curriculum, mainly
seen in engineering courses. |
Objectives of industrial visit are to provide students insight regarding
internal working of companies. It provides students with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction,
working methods and employment practices. It gives them exposure to current working practices as opposed to
possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at college. Industrial visits provide an excellent opportunity to
interact with industries and know more about industrial environment. Industrial visits are arranged by colleges
for students with an objective of providing students functional opportunity in different sectors like IT,
Manufacturing and services, finance and marketing. Industrial visit helps to combine theoretical knowledge
with industrial knowledge. Industrial realities are exposed to the students through industrial visits. |
