Department having consistent average pass percentage is more than 80% in university exams due to well experienced and committed faculty members. About 80-90 % of our eligible students placed in many reputed multinational companies, public and private sector. Every year more the 10% students are going abroad for higher studies. Some of our students become entrepreneurs and bureaucrats.

Charu Sharma, Chinamayi B M & Md. Shoaib of 8th Semester participated in “National Students Project Exhibition 2016” have exhibited project entitled on “Waste Management through IOT” held at Alpha College of Engineering in association with AICTE, New Delhi and have won second place.

• Ms. Shruthi Dayanand bearing USN 1ST12CS107 achieved 5th Rank in VIII Semester VTU Examination held during May-June 2016.

• Mr. Kevin Sam Mathews bearing USN 1ST12CS049 achieved 6th Rank in VIII Semester VTU Examination held during May-June 2016.

Some of our students cleared competitive examinations such as UPSC, KPSC, Banking and many other reputed examinations.

One of our students Mr. Prashanth has cleared UPSC examination and posted as the IAS officers.

As per 27th march 2017, Fund of Rs. 5000 received by student Ms. Andrea C Vincent for the project " A reconfigurable smart sensor interface for industrial WSN in IOT environment ". The fund was given by Karnataka State council for Science and Technology. The other students in the project were Anusha E Birje and Chaitra S and Jayalakshmi S.

The department is constantly supporting the co curricular activities along with academic activates. The institute has well established physical education center with experienced physical Director. The center has provided good GYM center, sports equipments, with good play grounds. Many of our students participated in inter college , university level , state and national level sports and athletics and won many medals and trophies.

The department also supports cultural activities under Department student forum PRATYUSH, college cultural fest VIBEZ, inter college cultural fest and through other renown cultural organizations. One of our students Mr. Rajkumar Sah won Mr. Bangalore in one of the state level cultural competition. And also our students won different medals in many activities.

The Department of CSE organized many Co- Curricular activities under the banner of Department student forum Prathyush and college fest named VIBZE to exhibit the students hidden talent. Our students make use of this platform to exhibit their talent and many of our students presently working as well known models, actors, singers etc.
