Teaching - Learning Process
 
The college places is focused on academic performance of students which lays strong foundation.


The teaching learning process starts with curriculum and syllabus prescribed by VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University), Belgaum. Class room teaching is supported by laboratory experiments. There will be continuous Internal Assessment supplemented by assignments. Special attention is given to students who lag behind. The system is made to work effectively through a systematic and methodical continuous Mentoring efforts.

i) The following faculty members have presented some output of their research work in I C A M S – 2017 – International Conference on Advances in Mechanical Sciences, 2017. The articles have been published in March issue of International Journal of Engineering Sciences & Management

ii) One of the research article entitled ‘Potential of Magnetic materials for molding’ by Mr V N Basavarajappa, secured a prize in “All India Seminar on CLEAN TECHNOLGY” held in 2016

Memorandum of Understanding
The Department has an M o U (Memorandum of Understanding) with:
  1. N D R F (National Design and Research Foundation) to seek i) funding to carry out Research work; ii) Organize National / International seminars / Conferences / Symposium etc. on the upcoming areas of Industry and research relevance.

    The department, as part of the Sambhram Institute has associated with N D R F & C P R I in organizing Residual Stress: Key Challenges and Remedies - All India Seminar in Jan. 2016, along with R V C E, I W S, It is also associating with N D R F in the forth coming The Clean Technology scheduled for 25 Aug. 2016 along with R V C E, and others.

  2. P I A ( Peenya Industries Association), which provides an opportunity for the students to visit different types industries, take up internship as well as a chance to do industry oriented academic project. Also it is likely to create a platform for the faculties to share their expertise with the industries in the form of ‘industrial consultancy’.

  3. T E R I University, New Delhi, and The Energy Resources Institute, Bangalore, the M o U enable SaIT to get an ‘ Energy audit’ of its campus, which i) gives an insight into the power being consumed, ii) give chance to set up its own roof top power generation units or iii) outsource the same for any outside agency with share in revenue generation.
