The MBA program at Sambhram Institute of Technology (SaIT) was established in the academic year 2006–2007. Since its inception, the Department of Management Studies & Research has nurtured and produced over 300 capable, competent, and committed professionals. The department continues to uphold a spirit of pragmatic inquiry and in-depth analysis of the ever-evolving dynamics of business.

The program is thoughtfully designed to nurture leadership and organizational skills in future managers. At SaIT’s Department of Management Studies & Research, the curriculum goes beyond academics, emphasizing personalized guidance and counseling to foster managerial excellence.

Modern facilities and a highly skilled faculty make the department an ideal environment for those aspiring to build a career in business management. The MBA program is structured to provide in-depth knowledge and a vision to equip prospective managers with essential skills such as leadership, lateral thinking, and critical evaluation.

HOD, MBA

The MBA program offered by the college under VTU is meticulously designed and well-structured to provide students with a comprehensive education in management and business. The program is enriched by a series of management and business-related events, seminars, and industrial visits, which enhance practical learning and industry exposure.

The department boasts a team of dedicated faculty members who possess rich industrial experience and academic excellence. Additionally, the department benefits from the expertise of experienced subject matter specialists and professionals with extensive industrial backgrounds. Students who join the program grow not only as individuals but also as integral members of the Sambhram Group, acquiring both team skills and a sense of belonging.

The department has successfully conducted various national and international seminars and workshops, earning accolades for its excellence. The twofold increase in the program’s intake from 60 to 120 is a testament to the growing demand and reputation of the course at the college.

The vibrant Training and Placement Department plays a pivotal role in establishing strong connections with leading industries, facilitating placements in some of the most renowned corporate houses.

Teaching Learning Process

The Department of MBA takes pleasure in having very talented professors who work tirelessly to support the institution’s ideals and beliefs. The faculty works to provide a learning atmosphere and direct students down the proper route for a successful career.

  • The department uses a good mentoring system in which faculty members meet with students regularly and offer advice to help them overcome obstacles to academic success. Their concerns are addressed, talked about, and given the appropriate assistance to ensure that students are comfortable on campus as they pursue their education.
  • Faculty members follow innovative teaching practices that students can relate theoretical concepts to real-world examples and develop their skills, knowledge, and critical thinking etc. which make classes more interactive.

  • Classrooms and Lecture Halls: These are equipped with modern Audio-Visual equipment, projectors, and whiteboards to facilitate interactive and engaging teaching.
  • Seminar Rooms: Smaller rooms for group discussions, presentations, and workshops, often used for more focused and intimate learning experiences.
  • Auditorium: A larger space used for guest lectures, seminars, conferences, and other events involving a larger audience.
  • Computer Labs: Equipped with computers, software relevant to business-related tasks. Students can practice using tools commonly used in the business world.
  • Library: A collection of books, journals, research papers, and online resources related to Management, Economics, Human Resources, Marketing and Finance.
  • Placement Cell: A dedicated facility where students can access resources for career development, job placements, internships, resume building, interview preparation, and networking opportunities.
  • Cafeteria: An area where students and faculty can have meals, relax, and continue discussions outside the classroom.
  • Recreational Facilities: Students for recreations can access sports room or other recreational facilities to promote a healthy work-life balance.

  • Faculty members participate in curriculum development to ensure that it remains relevant and aligned with industry trends and academic standards
  • Advising and mentoring the students on research projects, internships and career paths.
  • Organizing Industrial Visits to encourage student-industry interaction on regular basis to enhance students’ corporate exposure
  • Guest lecture or talks are being arranged online / offline mode for students to provide corporate exposure on various management arena.
  • Faculty members planned community outreach programs for MBA Students. The students have to create awareness through street play, public talks etc. to the community.
