About us:
The years go by and the number of familiar faces at campus diminishes, but the memories we all carry within us seem stronger all the time. Alumni association of SaIT unifies the alumni for betterment of every alumnus and the institute. Anecdotes of fellow students, escapades, distinctive acts of professors, and tales of a sporting glory, among others have dominated many a conversation years after the result sheets have faded and torn.
Importance of Alumni:
Alumni are the brand-ambassadors of the institution they graduated from, and the Alumni association of SaIT plays a vital role in the following aspects.
Fund-raising– The strong alumni association contributes towards various developmental activities of the institution.
Mentorship and Scholarships – They play an active role in voluntary programs like mentoring students in their areas of expertise. They could also play a significant role in contributing scholarships in future to deserving students.

Objectives :
- To Facilitate Community Engagement – Serve as a platform for fostering relationships and connections among alumni, current students, faculty, and management, promoting a vibrant and supportive community within SaIT.

About SAIT – ALUMNI MEET 2022
Alumni Meet 2022 was held on 10th October 2022 @ The Sambhram Roost.
Alumni’s came in groups with all the smiles and looks of anticipation on their faces in returning to their beloved Alma Mater.
We were delighted that this year’s reunion had the best turn out ever, with over 500 alumni and guests in attendance.
The Alumni Meet was started with an invocation song seeking the blessings of almighty by student from Final year CSE, the hosts of the event then invited the dignitaries to occupy the dais. The Chief Guest, Mr. Nagesh K P, VP Head of Data & Digital Series SLK Software, Guest of honour Mr. Benjin Samuel, Early Career Talent Attraction SAP Labs, accompanied by Dr. Nagaraj .V – Chairman -SGI, Mr. Nagaraj B N, CEO SGI, Mrs. Dhanya Nagaraj, Director SGI and Principal, Dr. H.G Chandrakanth.
The Alumni present office bearers were honored and President,Vice President,Secretary and Treasurer were spoke about the achievements done in their tenure.
The next office bearers election was conducted , the new office bearers of SAIT-Alumni association were congratulated and honed by past EC committee and guests, the incumbent president Mr.Girish Kumar spoke about the planning and road map of their EC committee.
There was a lot of catching up, hugs and talks with their former faculties and Alumnus whom they had not met in years! Amidst all managed to Participate, cheer and enjoy the line up of entertainments organized for them Which included Felicitation of Placed students for the current Year, Election for ALUMNI Association, Cultural Event were organised for the Alumnus.
Some of the alumnus then spoke about their experiences in college; the nostalgia they went through and joy in their voices were very much evident.
The day was very special, not only did the weather stay fine, but for the first time there was a Buffet arranged. This meant there were even more alumni who came back to Sheffield for the reunion than even before.
The Buffet was a good chance for friends to meet up and reminisce in an informal setting. There were just over 500 alumni in attendance along with all placed students of Current Final Year.
Separate new office bearers EC members meeting was conducted .
What started out as a simple reunion went on to become a full fledged fun a memorable event!

The Alumni Meet started with an invocation song seeking the blessings of almighty by Megha .C, Final year CSE the hosts of the event, Nikitha & Namartha invited the dignitaries to occupy the dais. The chief guest Dr. Binoy Mathew, Director – VTU, CPC accompanied by Shri. Nagaraj .V – Chairman, SGI and Principal, Dr. H.G Chandrakanth.
The Alumni present office bearers were honored and President,Vice President,Secretary and Treasurer were spoke about the achievements done in their tenure.

Cultural Event were organized for the Alumnus by the final and prefinal year students of SAIT.
