VISION
The Department should strengthen its position as
the central institute of physics of the university of
VTU. Department faculty approved for research centre
for doctoral study in physics and making the junior
lecturer to take the benefiting research centre for
their carrier growth. Develop and maintain long term
relationship with academic and industrial world
through applied learning. Bring research projects and
establish sophisticated laboratories, Publish research
work in journals of repute.
MISSION
The mission of the Department is to research,
through theoretical and practical methods. The
fundamental constituents of the world, and to examine
the laws which govern their interactions. Top-level
training in physics is integrated with the current
research, having the purpose to prepare students in
facing the challenges of contemporary science,
technological and economic development and also
education of younger generations. |
