The Department carries out various Industry-Institute interaction events for the benefit of the students. Some of the events organized in recent past are:

• The students of 5th semester ISE visited Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Bangalore on 31st October, 2016. The technical knowledge of the students was thus enhanced through the demonstration of prototype models of satellites. This also included a demo on building of RF circuits for the satellites. Later, the students were also shown the real design center for satellites.

• Industrial visit was organized for the students for 6th semester to CDAC, Bangalore on May 1st, 2015. The students interacted enthusiastically with the scientists at CDAC.

• More than 50% of the student projects are carried out in industries.

The Department is constantly interacting with Industry to stay updated in technology for the benefit of the students.

1. Memorandum of understanding (MOU): An MOU was signed between department of ISE and spark techno media (p) Ltd on 30th may 2017. MOU paves a way for the students to do real time project and provides an exposure to the corporate working environment.

2. Industrial visit

An industrial visit to ISRO satellite center was arranged by the department on 17th May 2017.About 60 students and 2 faculties visited and interacted with the scientists of ISRO.

3. Infosys campus connect

The department has signed an MOU with Infosys and is a participant of the campus connect program. Campus connect bridges the gap between academia and industry.
